Pre-Sales Solutions Architect - ANZ

As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect you will work as part of our Infrastructure and Solutions teams and play a crucial role in supporting our Sales team.
You will leverage your expertise to connect the customers' demand with our Security Software Products and Solutions. This covers all aspects from crafting solutions for customers as well as leading Proof of Concepts (PoC) and advising customers on architecture, technology, network-security and matching this to viable business models.
You’ll work closely with customers to explore their infrastructure, identify pain points, and propose secure, scalable solutions. By combining technical knowledge with strong communication skills, you’ll build credibility, support the sales cycle, and ensure each solution aligns with both technical and business goals.
This role is individual-contributor-oriented, requiring a strong team player with a proven track record in the cybersecurity area of expertise, preferably within the hosting industry, e-Commerce or cloud infrastructure projects

Engagement type: Employment contract options are available in the UK, Spain, Germany, and Estonia - with freelance/contractor arrangements in the rest of the world.
Location: remote within Australia or New Zealand
Compensation: Paid position; rate depends on experience and location
What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage Projects to integrate Blackwall products and solutions into client and partner environments.
Assess current systems architecture and collaborate with Architect and Developer teams to recommend solutions or improvements.
Resolve technical issues as they arise and design, modify, and test technical solutions.
Provide guidance to development teams and clients, informing stakeholders about technical issues and assessing the business impact of technical choices.
Update stakeholders on product development processes and interact directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
Analyze client systems or processes to identify opportunities where Blackwall solutions can add value.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Blackwall products' functionality and how they address client needs.
Collaborate with sales teams to outline proposed solutions, emphasizing both technical aspects and business value.
Provide ongoing third-level technical support to partners, addressing questions, concerns, and technical issues.
What You Bring:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the Infrastructure, Hosting or E-Commerce field, preferably as Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect with Customer focus
Good exposure in web-hosting, firewalling and web-traffic management.
Comfortable working in a startup environment with commitment to our shared success.
Willingness to take ownership of projects and problems and drive timelines and manage deliverables.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-motivated individual contributor who can also excel as a team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
