We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to drive the development of Blackwall’s user interfaces and client-side architecture. This role focuses on building high-quality JavaScript-based frontends for complex, data-driven products, translating design concepts into polished, production-ready experiences.

You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend engineering to deliver reliable, performant, and maintainable user interfaces. The role combines strong frontend craftsmanship with a sense of ownership over UI quality, usability, and long-term maintainability, ensuring frontend solutions align with product goals and real user needs at Blackwall.

What You’ll Do

Frontend Development & UI/UX Implementation

• Translate Figma designs, mockups, and UX concepts into high-quality JavaScript-based frontends.

• Ensure consistent styling, spacing, responsiveness, and alignment with the design system.

• Build and maintain reusable UI components, forms, and interactive elements.

• Deliver polished, user-friendly interfaces for complex, data-heavy applications.

Product & Engineering Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with designers to refine user flows and usability.

• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.

• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to improvements of the frontend layer.

Quality & Performance

• Implement client-side validation, error handling, and smooth user interactions.

• Optimize frontend performance, especially for complex dashboards and workflows.

• Maintain high standards for code quality, readability, scalability, and maintainability.

Maintenance & Ownership

• Debug, improve, and refactor existing UI features.

• Take ownership of frontend features from implementation to long-term stability.

• Contribute to documentation, UI guidelines, and frontend best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frontend development.

• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate designs into production-ready interfaces.

• Experience building dashboards, forms, and business-critical application UIs.

• Proficiency in working with REST APIs and frontend application architectures.

• High attention to detail, clean code practices, and a strong sense of ownership over user experience.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Node.js on the server or backend side.

• Familiarity with full-stack workflows and frontend–backend integration patterns.

• Experience working with component libraries and design systems.

• Background in enterprise, internal tools, or B2B product development.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.

• Experience working with commercial or open source hosting control panels.
